When you fullscreen, play PC games, open desktop video players like VLC or MPC-HC, or use Spotify, browser extensions do nothing. Oblyus runs natively across your entire Windows desktop using hardware-accelerated DirectX at 0.3% CPU, bringing ambient lighting to all apps and movies.
Hardware ambient lighting kits like Philips Hue Play or Govee DreamView cost between $100 and $250+, require gluing sticky LED lightstrips to the back of your monitor, and need messy cables, external power bricks, or camera mounts. The light turns off. It comes back when you activate a license key in Settings > License. There is no free version.

Yes. Music mode listens to your PC's audio output (Spotify, YouTube, games, anything) and follows the beat, tempo and stereo placement. A build-up dims the light and the drop makes it burst.

Bias lighting, a gentle light around a screen in a dark room, reduces the contrast between the bright display and the dark wall, which many people find more comfortable for long evenings. Oblyus includes a neutral white Studio palette for exactly that.
The picture on your screen and the sound playing stay on your PC. They are not uploaded. If you buy, we keep the email on the receipt so we can give you the license key.
Download Oblyus.exe and open it. It installs itself for your user, adds a Start menu shortcut, starts with Windows and lives in the notification area. Uninstall it any time from Settings > Apps.
